Blacklite District Biography
A unique and unusual Hard-Rock act, Blacklite District was first conceived in the early 2000s by guitarist + vocalist Kyle Pfeiffer and lead vocalist Roman James. The two immediately began writing music and playing locally in their home town of Spearfish, South Dakota USA, gaining a hardcore fan base in the all over the Black Hills.
Combining the sound of vintage Heavy-Metal with new age electronic elements, James and Pfeiffer, along with Oniel Kane on bass and Chris Mardini on drums, attracted the attention of several producers and finally they moved to Orlando.
During 2013 the quartet had the opportunity to support such renown acts as Saving Abel, Art Of Dying and Nonpoint. In the fall they also released a couple of EPs and one single, "With Me Now", that managed to crash the Active Rock chart.
The band's debut full-length, "Worldwide Controversy", was electronically released in April 2014.
