Future Leaders Of The World Biography

This Alternative-Metal act from Buffalo, New York USA, comprising frontman Phil Taylor, guitarist Jake Stutevoss, bassist Bill Hershey and drummer Carl Messina, came together in 2003.

Soon after Future Leaders Of The World signed to Epic Records, began writing and rehearsing songs destined for their debut album, "LVL IV", which was released in October 2004. The disc reached #153 on The Billboard Top 200 Albums chart on the strength of the single "Let Me Out" which peaked at #6 on The Mainstream Rock chart; the second single, "Everyday", reached #30 on the same chart. During this time, Future Leaders Of The World toured heavily for more than a year with groups such as Shinedown, Seether, Crossfade, Chevelle, Alter Bridge and Velvet Revolver.

After this Phil Taylor launched another band called Machina but failed to capture the fancy of the mainstream market.
