The melodic modern Hard-Rock outfit Otherwise formed up in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, by lead vocalist Adrian Patrick and guitarist Ted Carrasco. Over the course of that year, the two college drop-outs spent countless hours searching for the right players and finally, twelve months later, they hired Patrick's younger brother, guitarist Ryan Patrick, bassist D.W. King and drummer Alan Doucette to round out the line-up.
In the fall of 2006 the band put out an eponymous digital album. Also, they have been able to seize the opportunity to open for such heavyweights as Crossfade, Buckcherry and Escape The Fate.
Over the next few years, the Patrick brothers refined the line-up to include guitarist + bassist Vassilios Metropoulos, bass player Flavio Ivan Mendoza and drummer Corky Gainsford.
Otherwise earned recognition on the national level when Fox News dubbed them the “#1 unsigned act in America” and eventually scored a deal with Century Media Records. The Vegas quintet's sophomore album was released in May 2012 and was introduced by lead single "Soldiers" that went on to sell more than 10,000 units on iTunes in one month alone landing in the top 20 of The Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The album reached #123 on The Billboard 200 and yielded two more Active Rock top 20 hits: "I Don't Apologize (1000 Pictures)" and "Die For You".
Otherwise have set "Peace At All Costs" as the title of their highly anticipated next album. The disc marks the recording debut of guitarist Andrew Pugh who replaced Mendoza, when he decided to leave the group in the summer of 2012. "Darker Side Of The Moon" is the CD's first single.
